Aqua Huna ships within the United States only, with UPS Next Day Air at $29.99 available for orders $39.99 and up, processed Monday to Wednesday and not available for Alaska, Puerto Rico or PO Boxes. USPS Priority Mail costs $17.99 and is processed on Monday, and USPS Priority Mail with Signature Confirmation Service costs $20.99, also processed on Monday. Aqua Huna does not ship aquatic life on Thursday or Friday and is closed on weekends. It does not ship to Hawaii, Washington State, Guam or Canada; Puerto Rico and Alaska can be reached by USPS only. USPS Priority Mail usually takes about 2 to 4 business days to arrive. Shipping fees are non-refundable for delays caused by weather disruptions.

Aqua Huna returns

Aqua Huna does not accept returns on any livestock item, with no exceptions, and recommends donating unwanted fish or shrimp to a local pet or fish store. It guarantees live arrival of everything it sells and honours this guarantee for the first 3 days after arrival, with the day of receipt counted as Day 1. A refund for the purchase price is issued when a photo of the fish on a piece of paper or paper towel is sent with the name and order number. Shipping costs are non-refundable, and gift cards are non-returnable. Some sensitive fish must be shipped UPS Next Day Air, and the DOA guarantee does not apply to those fish if USPS Priority Mail is chosen.

Good to know about Aqua Huna

Aqua Huna describes itself as the largest tropical fish importer and wholesaler in the Northwest, and says more than half of its customers are repeat buyers. It gets new stock weekly and updates the website daily, and each product page has a "Back in Stock" notification tool. Orders are reviewed so the appropriate heat or cold packs are used based on weather forecasts, and sick livestock is not shipped; items that become unfit to ship are held or removed and refunded. Fish can live in the shipping box for 1 week (7 days) and shrimp for 2 weeks (14 days), sometimes longer. Most refunds are processed within 10 business days. The store is intended for experienced hobbyists and small businesses, and beginners are directed to their local pet store.
