Standard shipping within the continental United States operates via FedEx Ground Services, UPS or USPS, and charges are based on actual weight and or dimensions. Most items ship within two to seven business days. Frozen orders ship via Next Day Air, and aquatic plants ship Monday through Wednesday via FedEx Second Day Air or priority mail. Fish tanks, cabinets and oversized orders ship by common carrier or FedEx terminal truck freight, with a minimum shipping cost of $300. Fish tanks are shipped on a wooden pallet inside a custom wooden crate at no additional cost, with liftgate service included; optional White Glove Delivery, which brings the tank inside the home, is available for an additional fee of $200–$300. Fresh, refrigerated and frozen items are shipped separately from other items in an order, using insulated packaging and dry ice.

Pets Warehouse returns

Pets Warehouse accepts returns on unsuitable items if the customer notifies the store by email within 48 hours of receipt, and the item must be unused, in its original packaging with all accessories, and shipped back within 15 days of the date of receipt. Original shipping charges are not refunded, and the buyer pays return shipping. Refunds or store credits are issued within 72 hours of receipt and inspection of the returned merchandise, to the original method of payment. Non-returnable items include dog food and cat food, fish tanks and reptile enclosures, glass doors and glass tops, replacement parts, live plants, live animals, frozen products and perishable products. Damaged or defective items must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence, and incorrect items within 48 hours with the SKU number.
