Audible offers audiobooks, podcasts and Audible Originals, along with a Plus Catalogue and a Sleep category. Its catalogue spans Mysteries & Thrillers, Science Fiction & Fantasy, History, Fiction, Comedy and Business, with sections for best sellers, new releases, coming soon and best of the year. Titles listed on the site include Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Rebecca Yarros’s Threshing Day, Freida McFadden’s The Witch, Matt Dinniman’s Dungeon Crawler Carl series, Colleen Hoover’s Verity, Andy Weir’s Project Hail Mary, John Steinbeck’s East of Eden and the full-cast Harry Potter editions by J.K. Rowling.

Audible prices

Audible plans start at $8.99 a month. The current Season’s Savings offer is $0.99 a month for the first 3 months, saving over 80% on Audible Standard, after which the plan auto-renews at $8.99 a month. A separate featured title, Threshing Day, is offered at $0.00 to try, then auto-renews at $8.99 a month plus applicable tax after 30 days. Individual titles are also sold at listed prices in Canadian dollars, such as $8.71 CAD for The Perimenopause Playbook: Volume 1 and $14.95 CAD for HBR’s 10 Must Reads 2027.

Audible returns

Audible states that fees for purchased content, membership plans, subscriptions and other services are non-refundable except in the specific circumstances described in its Terms. If a membership or subscription is cancelled, no refund is given for fees already paid, but cancellation does not terminate the licence to purchased content, which stays in the Audible library. Credits are non-refundable and expire immediately upon cancellation or termination of a membership unless used beforehand.

Discounts and offers at Audible

Audible’s Season’s Savings promotion offers membership at $0.99 a month for the first 3 months, a saving of over 80% on Audible Standard, after which the price becomes $8.99 a month and the plan auto-renews. The offer ends December 28, 2026, and members can cancel anytime. Audible also sometimes offers trial or promotional memberships to certain customers, and Quebec residents, who are not eligible for trial memberships, may be eligible for a membership offer available only to them.

Good to know about Audible

Audible works with creators around the world to produce Originals, audiobooks and podcasts, and over the past five years it has featured content from over a million creators globally. Purchased content stays in the Audible library and can be accessed at any time, though Audible encourages downloading a copy promptly after purchase. Content may be added or removed from the catalogue and from membership plans at any time, and some content is offered only in limited territories. Memberships renew automatically until cancelled, and cancellation is done through the Account Details page or by contacting Customer Service.
