What Clogau sells

Clogau sells jewellery in gold and silver, with necklaces and pendants, earrings, rings, bracelets and bangles, charms and brooches. Its ranges include collections named Promises, Nature’s Wonder, Paw Prints, Cariad, Forever Yours, Tree of Life and Royal Clogau, plus collaborations with Wrexham AFC and the Welsh Rugby Union. The shop also lists men’s and women’s watches in gold-tone, rose gold-tone and silver-tone finishes, and gifts such as candles and fragrances, keyrings, travel accessories and gift cards. Engagement and wedding rings span yellow, rose, white and platinum gold, and the Compose by Clogau service lets you build your own ring.

Clogau prices on the public product list run from £19 to £2,800, with a middle price of £1,090 across the sample of 100 products. A 15ml travel-size Clogau Eau De Toilette is listed at £19, keyrings at £29, a Royal Clogau sterling silver leaf pendant with topaz at £129, and a Clogau Celebration sterling silver drop necklace with topaz at £219. Watches include the Elwy at £350, the Alaw at £390 and the Brenig at £480. Wedding and engagement pieces include a Promises 9ct solid gold 4mm wedding ring at £820, a Promises 9ct solid white gold ring with aquamarine and a 0.5ct lab-grown diamond at £1,490, and a Promises 18ct solid Fairtrade gold engagement ring with a 0.3ct lab-grown diamond at £1,700. Clogau shipping

Clogau ships free on orders over £150 to UK addresses, using Royal Mail on a 48-hour tracked service with an estimated 3–5 business days. Paid UK options are Royal Mail Tracked 48 at £2.99, DPD Two-Day at £2.99, Royal Mail Special Delivery at £6.99 and DPD Next Day at £6.99, all fully tracked. International delivery is a flat £14.99 per order, shipped by DPD on a Delivered Duty Paid service with duties and taxes calculated at checkout, typically arriving within 14 working days. Orders placed before 4pm, Monday to Thursday, are usually dispatched the same day where items are in stock. Every order is hand-packed in a presentation box and sent in plain, unbranded packaging, and a signature is required on delivery.

Clogau returns

Clogau accepts returns within 30 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange, provided the item is unworn and accompanied by proof of purchase. Returns are typically processed within 7–10 working days, with refunds to the original payment method and funds usually appearing within 5–10 working days. Customers pay return postage except where an item is faulty or sent in error. Earrings, engraved or personalised jewellery, bespoke items, alterations, gift vouchers and Compose by Clogau engagement rings are not returnable. Perfume and candles can only be returned if the wrapper is intact and the product unused. The Clogau Two-Year Warranty covers manufacturing faults on jewellery and watch movement parts.

Good to know about Clogau

Every Clogau watch and piece of jewellery contains rare Welsh gold, normally within the rose gold detailing, and each piece carries the Welsh Dragon stamp to indicate this. Since 2004, each piece has been tested and marked by the Edinburgh Assay Office, and Clogau states that its Welsh gold comes from a stockpile mined by the company during the late 1990s. Clogau describes its jewellery as hand-finished using conflict-free diamonds, ethically mined gold and a 7-stage quality control process. The brand also offers a professional cleaning and polishing service for a small fee plus postage, and a repair service for items outside warranty coverage.
