Good to know about Pfaltzgraff

Pfaltzgraff dinnerware without precious metal accents is safe to use in the dishwasher and microwave, and it can be warmed or heated in the oven when placed in a cool oven that heats gradually. The brand recommends starting the oven no higher than 225°F and warns against sudden temperature changes, which can cause dinnerware to crack. Current dinnerware patterns are made primarily of stoneware and porcelain, and the brand has used earthenware, stoneware, porcelain and bone china at points in its history. Reactive glaze, used on stoneware, produces multi-tonal colors and patterns, and no two pieces come out exactly alike. Pfaltzgraff e-gift cards never expire, are sent by email, carry no fees beyond face value and are redeemable only on pfaltzgraff.com.
