City Grounds shipping

City Grounds shipping costs vary depending on the items in the cart, and the most accurate quote appears on the checkout page once items and shipping details are entered. The shop’s Free Shipping Offer applies only to the lower 48 states, not including Alaska and Hawaii, and the checkout system is not configured for shipping to Alaska and Hawaii. City Grounds only ships within the US and does not offer international shipping, and its checkout cart only accepts US issued credit cards. Expedited shipping is not offered as a service due to the high rates for expedited shipping on larger packages such as bikes. Processing time for a package to leave the warehouse may take 1 to 6 business days excluding weekends and holidays, and standard ground shipping times apply beyond that point.

City Grounds returns

City Grounds offers returns within 30 days of receiving an order for a refund, less shipping costs, on items returned unused and undamaged with original packaging and tags intact. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Items marked Sale or Clearance are final sale and non-refundable, and City Grounds Gift Cards are final sale. On orders that received the Free Shipping Offer, the original shipping fee is charged on returns if the refundable amount puts the order total below the Free Shipping Offer, and this charge is deducted from the refund. A professional packer is advised for larger packages such as a wheelset, frameset or complete bike.

Discounts and offers at City Grounds

City Grounds runs a sale, shown on its pages as SALE LIVE NOW, and items marked Sale or Clearance are listed in a Sale section of the shop. The shop also invites customers to join as a member for exclusive discounts and rewards. Its Free Shipping Offer applies to orders within the lower 48 states, and the FAQ notes that the free shipping offer is only available on selected items.

Good to know about City Grounds

City Grounds has been serving the cycling community since 2008 and was born from the streets of Southern California, specialising in e-moto, e-bikes, big wheel BMX and urban-inspired rides. The shop operates an Irvine showroom and warehouse, and its stated mission is to deliver top-quality products backed by exceptional service from a team that knows and loves bikes. Taxes are calculated at checkout, and all products that can be added to cart are currently available. The payment processor allows only one form of payment per order, with City Grounds Gift Cards the only exception, as they can be combined with another form of payment. Payment is captured at the time of completing checkout. Orders checked out using Affirm, PayPal or ShopPay cannot be edited, and in some cases cancellation of the original order is required. Bicycles arrive prepackaged in various levels of completion by the manufacturer, and the shop recommends taking the product to a local bike shop for professional assembly.
