Diecast shipping

Diecast ships for a flat rate of $9.95 on eligible orders to physical addresses in the 48 contiguous United States. That rate is a promotional, subsidized rate intended to cover most standard orders and may not apply to every order, destination or circumstance. Shipping charges are otherwise calculated from the destination, shipping method, order size, weight and dimensions, and the options and costs are shown at checkout. Orders are generally processed Monday through Friday, and most orders are processed within 1-2 business days; the brand states that 99% of orders ship within 24 hours or sooner. Carriers used include USPS, UPS and FedEx. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, P.O. Boxes and international destinations is available where services are offered at checkout, with rates and times shown there.

Diecast returns

Diecast accepts returns of most eligible products within 30 days from the purchase date. A return must be requested first, with the order number and the reason, and the brand provides return instructions after reviewing the request. For a change of mind, the item must be unused, in its original condition and include the original manufacturer box, packaging, inserts, accessories and parts, and the customer pays the return shipping cost; original shipping charges are generally non-refundable. For damaged, defective or incorrect items, the brand asks to be contacted as soon as possible after delivery and may provide a replacement or a refund. Returned collectible products must include their original manufacturer packaging in substantially the same condition as received.

Good to know about Diecast

Diecast has served collectors since 2005 and is a family-owned business based in California. It packs models in bubble wrap, reinforces outer cartons where necessary and marks packages with high-visibility fragile tape, and it visually inspects models visible through window boxes where possible before shipping. It ships to customers throughout the United States and to many international destinations. In 2017 it was named Diecast Dealer of the Year by the Model Car Hall of Fame. Diecast models are made with die-cast metal components, commonly a zinc alloy, and may also contain plastic, rubber, glass or other materials.
