Good to know about Old World Christmas

Old World Christmas has been hand-crafting ornaments since 1979, using techniques that originated in the 1800s. Each figurative glass ornament is mouth-blown into finely carved molds made exclusively for the brand, a hot solution of liquid silver is poured inside, and the ornament is then hand-painted and glittered in a series of labor-intensive steps. Every glass ornament is topped with a signature gold or silver crown embossed with OWC, carries a small OWC charm, and comes with a tag that shares the ornament’s story and the tradition behind it. The brand acquired Ginger Cottages on 9/30/19, whose wood cottages are hand assembled and light up with a standard bulb from the tree. Old World Christmas does not offer personalization on its ornaments, though it sells a large selection that can be personalised once received, and it runs a custom design program for wholesale customers. An account is not required to place orders but is recommended, as it allows customers to build and manage a wishlist, track order status, save contact information, access order history and start a return.
