What Gabb sells

Gabb sells the Gabb Phone 4, described on its site as the safer phone for tweens, and the Gabb Watch 3e, described as the safer phone kids wear. Both are also available as Certified Refurbished devices. Accessories listed on the site include the Gabb Style Band, the Gabb Watch Sports Band, the Gabb Watch 3 Screen Protector, the Gabb Phone 4 Slim Case and the Gabb Phone 4 Screen Protector. Gabb also offers safer music streaming for kids on iOS and Android, and the Gabb Go app, which lets kids manage parent-created to-do lists, track steps and care for a digital pet.

Gabb prices

On Gabb’s site, the Gabb Watch 3e is listed at $229.99 and the Gabb Phone 4 at $249.99. Certified Refurbished versions of the Gabb Watch 3e are listed at $159.99. Accessories range from $12.99 for a Style Band, Watch Sport Band or Watch 3 screen protector to $14.99 for the Phone 4 Slim Case or Phone 4 screen protector. Gabb service plans are recurring monthly subscriptions billed by Gabb, starting at $12.99 per month for Watch plans and $24.99 per month for Phone 4 plans.

Gabb returns

Gabb devices purchased on gabb.com must be returned to Gabb directly, while products bought through third-party retailers must be returned under that retailer’s policy. For devices purchased between January 1 and October 31, Gabb allows returns within 30 days of purchase; for purchases between November 1 and December 31, devices may be returned through January 31. If the retail box is opened or unsealed, a $50 restocking fee applies, and opened accessories are non-refundable. Returned devices must be in original packaging, include all original contents, and be undamaged, fully functional and unaltered. Refunds are issued in the next billing cycle after Gabb receives the returned device.

Discounts and offers at Gabb

Gabb’s referral program, called Refer a Friend, gives both an existing customer and a new customer a benefit: the existing customer receives a month of free service and the new customer receives a free accessory. Gabb also lists Certified Refurbished devices on its site at lower prices than new ones, with the refurbished Gabb Watch 3e at $159.99 against $229.99 for the new device.

Good to know about Gabb

Gabb devices are built without a web browser, social media or open app stores, and the site states there is no internet and no social media. Parental controls are managed through the MyGabb app, giving parents visibility into their child’s location, messaging and device settings, and the controls are built into the device itself. Gabb messaging uses AI content filtering. Gabb’s coverage runs on a nationwide wireless network. US-based Amazon Prime members can order Gabb devices through Buy with Prime on gabb.com, with Amazon handling shipping; Buy with Prime orders can only be placed and shipped to addresses within the contiguous US, Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
