Garden Trading ships standard UK mainland orders within 3-5 working days for £6.95. Next day delivery to the UK mainland costs £10.95 and is available on orders placed before 2pm. Large and fragile items to the UK mainland cost £15.95 within 3-5 working days, extra large and fragile items cost £29.95 within 3-5 working days, and specialist delivery costs £65 with a delivery time of up to 14 working days. For the Highlands, islands and Northern Ireland, standard delivery costs £19.95 within 5-7 working days, large and fragile items cost £29.95 within 5-7 working days, extra large and fragile items cost £39.95 within 5-7 working days, and specialist delivery requires a quote. A specialist delivery partner telephones the customer directly to book a convenient delivery date, delivers to the room of choice where there are no access issues and it is safe to do so, and removes packaging for large furniture sets. Garden Trading is unable to offer an assembly service. A despatch email contains the chosen courier and tracking number, and orders can also be tracked by signing into the My Account area.

Garden Trading returns

Garden Trading gives buyers 28 days from the date of receipt to return goods for a full refund. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging with the returns slip completed, including the outer box and all parts. The buyer is responsible for the cost of returning items, and can arrange a return via Royal Mail, via DPD, or by choosing their own courier. Refunds are issued within 14 days of the goods being received back, to the original card or payment method used. Goods found to be used, damaged, marked or scratched will not be refunded or exchanged. Faulty or damaged items should be reported via the contact form within 28 days of receipt, with images of the damage or fault. For a 3 for 2 purchase, returning the free item issues no refund, and returning one of the other items refunds the amount for that product less the value of the free product at the time of purchase. Items purchased through a Garden Trading stockist must be returned to that stockist directly.

Garden Trading also runs 3 for 2 purchases, under which the lowest-priced item in a qualifying three-item basket is free at the time of purchase.

Garden Trading was founded in 1994 as a garden-focused business and extended into indoor collections as the brand grew. The brand was acquired by the Joules Group in February 2021 and came under the ownership of the Tim Group Holdings in December 2022. In 2023 the company moved from Oxfordshire to Wiltshire. Garden Trading states that it has over 1500 lines in its collection and works with 2500 leading retailers who offer its products to customers worldwide. The brand says its products are designed with everyday living in mind, combining practical and uncluttered function with effortless style, and that its product team sources innovative materials and skilled artisans around the world. Garden Trading also publishes a journal with news, lifestyle features, styling advice and how-to guides.
