Good to know about Heinnie

Heinnie Haynes was founded in Cardiff in 1996 by Bruce Bollington, who began selling Leatherman multi-tools and knives from an attic room. In 2020 he sold the company to his employees as an Employee Ownership Trust, and the business now operates from Barry, South Wales with warehouse, offices and showroom on one site. Heinnie Haynes is employee-owned. Because it sells bladed items, Heinnie checks that customers are over 18 both at the point of sale and at the point of delivery, and since April 2022 it has been illegal to deliver a bladed item to a residential UK address without age verification. Payment can be made by credit or debit card, PayPal, postal order, or by direct bank transfer. Heinnie also offers a special order service for items not listed on the site, a WEEE take-back scheme on a like-for-like basis, trade pricing on some lines, and shipping to BFPO addresses.
