Intelligentsia Coffee returns

Intelligentsia Coffee does not accept returns on coffee, because coffee is perishable and roasted to order. If there was an error with an order, or a customer is dissatisfied with the coffee, has questions about brewing it, or has concerns about quality, the Customer Experience team can be contacted within 30 days of purchase. For items that are not coffee, customers can also reach out within 30 days of purchase, but the brand will not accept returns on grinders, kettles, or anything that has been used. For purchases made at Intelligentsia Coffeebar locations, proof of purchase is necessary for a full refund on hardware and brew equipment.

Intelligentsia Coffee roasts all of its coffee to order at its roastery and packaging facility in Chicago. All of the coffee is mold-free, because the brand tests water activity before and after purchase and before production, and all coffee roasted at the kosher-certified Chicago facility is kosher. The brand also carries USDA certified organic single origins, blends, espressos and decaf coffee. Intelligentsia recommends consuming coffee within three months of the roast date, with peak freshness five to seven days off roast and up to three weeks thereafter.
