Moonpig shipping

Moonpig prints and fulfils cards and gifts in Australia and delivers through Australia Post. Standard card delivery starts from $3.15 via the Australia Post Priority Letter service, with an estimated 2–4 working days depending on destination, and express card delivery starts from $9.75 with an estimated 1–3 working days and tracking. Standard gift delivery starts from $11.79 with an estimated 3–7 working days, and express gift delivery starts from $16.75 with an estimated 1-3 working days; both gift services include tracking and delivery confirmation. Orders placed before 2 PM local time at the printing site are processed and dispatched the same day, and orders after 2 PM are processed the next business day. The site states that 95% of capital city orders arrive next business day via Australia Post. Moonpig prints and ships cards from Australia to addresses in New Zealand for $3.00 through Australia Post’s International Economy Air Service, and it is currently unable to offer gift delivery to New Zealand.

Moonpig’s FAQ page states that new customers get 50% off cards, with the code shown on that page. The home page promotes bigger savings on cards for September birthdays under a multi-card offer, with the code displayed on the site. The site also offers bundles and gift boxes, including birthday gift boxes, wine and pamper sets, and local artisan gifts.

Moonpig features and sustainability

Moonpig cards can be personalised with uploaded photos, stickers, emojis, handwritten messages and handwriting fonts turned from the buyer’s own alphabet. The site also offers an AI Writing Assistant for card messages, AI-generated stickers from a typed prompt, voice notes and video messages, and group cards where several people sign through a shared link. Cards come in postcard, standard and large (A4) sizes, printed on 250–300 gsm cardstock. Moonpig states that its cards use FSC-certified card paper, that cards and mugs are Australian made, that envelopes and packaging are 100% recyclable, and that its products are plastic- and glitter-free; it has planted over 96,000 trees through its partnership with Tree-Nation. The site offers reminders and pre-scheduling for birthdays and other dates.
