Planet Beauty shipping

Planet Beauty ships free on orders over $59. Its shipping cost chart applies to orders up to 10 lbs. Ground Delivery costs $5.99 with an estimated delivery time of 3 to 7 business days plus processing time. Expedited shipping costs $15.00 with an estimated 1 to 3 business days plus processing time, and excludes flammable items. 2nd Day Air costs $35.00 with an estimated 2 business days plus processing time, and also excludes flammable items. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands and other listed U.S. territories costs $45.00 for orders up to 5 lb, with an estimated 5 to 15 business days plus processing time. International orders up to 5 lb cost $70.00 with an estimated 10 to 20 business days plus processing time. Orders over 10 lbs may require extra shipping, and customers will be contacted by customer service. Flammable items such as aerosol items and some alcohol-based items must be shipped via Standard and cannot be shipped via Air, and orders containing hazardous materials can only be shipped to addresses within the contiguous U.S. states.

Planet Beauty returns

Planet Beauty returns must be initiated and received within 30 days of the original purchase, and received within 10 days after the return process was initiated. All returns must be accompanied by the original receipt of purchase. Select tools and devices are final sales, as stated on each product description. Other items may be refunded or exchanged if returned within 14 days of purchase, in their original state, unused and in original packaging with the seal unbroken and the package not damaged. Shipping charges on the original order are not refunded unless the package was incorrectly shipped or the merchandise was defective, and orders that received free shipping will be deducted $5.99. If the return is mailed back, the customer covers the return shipping charges. Returns can also be brought to any Planet Beauty store. Once a return is received, credit is issued to the original form of payment, and refunds to a bank card or credit card appear within 7 to 10 days after notification. Purchases made by Gift Card or PayPal are refunded as a Planet Beauty Gift Card.

Discounts and offers at Planet Beauty

Planet Beauty states on its home page that it offers free shipping on orders over $59. Its FAQ explains that coupon codes can be entered in the cart summary box under Apply Discount Code, and that the codes are case sensitive. Discounts cannot be combined, so coupons do not apply to already discounted items, and coupon codes are subject to exclusions listed by the brand. The FAQ also notes that Groupon vouchers are accepted for in-store purchases at this time.

Planet Beauty was founded in Newport Beach, California in 1992 and has been operating for over 30 years. It runs more than 15 stores across California, many in Orange County and the Los Angeles area, alongside its website. Its education center at the corporate office provides training for employees, including brand training from vendor education departments, and many of its beauty advisers are licensed estheticians, hair stylists, and/or certified makeup artists. The brand offers curbside pickup at its stores, and store pickup orders can be switched to shipping as long as the order is over $39. Shipping orders can be switched to store pickup as long as the order has not shipped and the chosen location has the items available. Orders can be cancelled as long as they have not already shipped, and items in an order cannot be modified or substituted. Customer service is available by email, with business hours of Monday through Friday, 8AM-4PM PT.
