Pretavoir sells designer glasses, sunglasses and clip-on lenses from 150 different designer brands, with over 10,000 frames in stock. The brands listed on its site include CHANEL, Cartier, Tom Ford, Gucci, Oliver Peoples, Ray-Ban, Porsche Design, CELINE, Prada and DITA. Frames can be ordered with single vision lenses, varifocal/progressive lenses, as a fashion accessory without prescription, or as frame only. Clip-on lenses, such as the Mulberry AGML181 714P Polarised Magnetic Clip-on, are also sold.

Pretavoir’s frames range from £20 to £2,000. In a sample of 100 products read from the store’s public product list, prices ran from 43 GBP to 435 GBP, with a middle price of 214 GBP. Pretavoir offers free shipping to both the UK and the United States via Royal Mail. In the UK, Royal Mail Tracked UK Standard takes 2 to 5 working days and is free, Royal Mail Tracked UK Express takes 1 to 2 working days and costs £5.95, DPD Next Day Delivery costs £6.95 and DPD Sunday Delivery costs £9.99. Orders received before 3pm BST Monday to Friday are aimed to be dispatched the same day, with an extra 2 to 7 working days for prescription lens orders. Internationally, Royal Mail International Priority to the United States takes 3 to 5 working days and is free, while UPS Worldwide to the United States takes 2 to 4 working days and costs $24.95. Delivery options to other destinations include Australia, Canada, China, Europe, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Singapore.

Pretavoir returns

Pretavoir accepts returns within 30 days of receiving the parcel. Items must be returned unworn, cleaned and unmarked, with all cases, tags and associated paperwork, and the tag on a sunglass frame must not be removed. For mainland UK customers, a subsidised tracked return through Royal Mail is available for £4.00, deducted from the refund. The return process takes up to 10 working days from receipt of the parcel, and refunds are aimed to be processed within 7 working days. Exchanges are offered, and customers can order 1 to 3 frames to try at home with a full refund on returned items; orders of 4 or more items where everything is returned carry a 10% restocking fee. Prescription eyewear can be returned for a full refund on both frame and lenses, limited to one order in a six month period.
