Talbots ships free on orders over $150. For continental United States deliveries, standard shipping is a flat $8.95 per address with an estimated arrival of 4-8 business days after the shipping and processing date, premium is $12.95 with 3-6 business days, and express is $18.95 with 2-3 business days. Orders to Alaska and Hawaii can expect standard delivery in 4-8 business days, and APO/FPO addresses can expect standard delivery in an estimated 9-12 business days, with express and expedited delivery not available for APO/FPO addresses. The site states that shipping and processing costs are based on averages and that an order may be shipped in a lower or higher tier to meet delivery expectations, but never at an additional charge. International deliveries are also offered, and the site notes that the recipient of an international package could be subject to additional charges. Sales tax is collected based on the order’s ship-to address where required by law, and it is also applied to shipping and processing charges where required by law.

Talbots returns

Talbots accepts returns and exchanges within 30 days of purchase. The items must be ticketed, unworn, unwashed or defective merchandise, and unopened, unused products such as fragrance and candles, returned with a valid receipt. Merchandise marked final sale is sold as is and may not be returned or exchanged and is not eligible for a price adjustment. Returns made within 30 days are credited to the original selling price, minus any credits received, to the original form of payment, unless a merchandise credit is preferred. If the original payment was a gift card or the item was received as a gift, the refund is a merchandise credit. Merchandise credits never expire and cannot be used to buy gift cards. Talbots retail stores and the distribution center accept returns of merchandise purchased from Talbots retail stores, online or by phone, while Talbots Outlet stores only accept returns of merchandise purchased from Talbots Outlet stores.

Talbots runs a current offer of 50% off one regular-price item plus 40% off everything else, and the site states that the 40% off includes markdowns. Orders of $150 or more ship free. Talbots credit cardholders earn 3x Style Points with their card, and the site invites shoppers to apply for the card and save today.
