Thorntons shipping

Thorntons ships free on orders over £40 in the UK. Standard delivery costs £4.50 and arrives within 3 working days, excluding Sundays and bank holidays, and is fulfilled by Royal Mail; orders placed before 11:00am are normally dispatched the same day. Named Day Delivery costs £5.95 and is delivered between 7:00am and 6:00pm from Tuesday to Friday, with orders needing to be placed before 4:00pm Monday to Friday. Thorntons does not offer shipping to the Channel Islands or international shipping at present.

Thorntons has been making chocolate since 1911, when Joseph Thornton opened a sweet shop in Sheffield, and the brand is now part of the Ferrero Group, having joined in 2015. Its Special Toffee recipe dates from 1925 and is still used today, and the brand began personalising chocolates in 1922 with hand-iced Easter eggs. Thorntons specialises in crafting high quality chocolate, sweets, toffee, fudge and other confectionery. Orders containing alcohol require an age check at the doorstep or Royal Mail collection points, and personalised products can be ordered before 12:00pm midday Monday to Friday for next working day delivery.
