zChocolat ships worldwide from France to 178 countries. Orders placed before 2 PM Paris time on a weekday leave the atelier in Provence the same day. The site offers Express delivery from France, door to door, with temperature-controlled packaging that keeps the inside at 15–20°C until delivery. For the United States, shipping is Rs6,213.90 per recipient plus Rs466.04 per gift, with duties of 10% of the gifts’ value prepaid at checkout. For France and Monaco, shipping is Rs4,474.01 per recipient plus Rs186.42 per gift, with VAT included and no duties. zChocolat offers a Perfect Delivery Promise. If anything goes wrong between the atelier and the recipient, the recipient must tell the company within 24 hours of delivery. The company then replaces the gift or refunds the recipient, at its expense. A replacement ships the next business day, or as fast as the atelier can during peak season. If the box arrives damaged, the recipient can send a photo through the contact form within 24 hours of delivery and choose a fresh box or a full refund. If the parcel is lost in transit, customer service opens a trace with FedEx and follows through immediately; if the parcel cannot be recovered, it is re-shipped or refunded in full. If the recipient is absent, FedEx re-attempts delivery the next business day, then leaves a notice with the local agency, where the parcel is held for a few days before being returned.
