What ThruDark sells

ThruDark sells men’s and women’s clothing across outdoor, active and utility categories. Its range includes waterproof jackets, insulated jackets, soft shell jackets, gilets, fleeces and mid layers, base layers, hoodies and jumpers, t-shirts, shirts, trousers and shorts. The Force Activewear line covers t-shirts, shorts and bottoms for pursuits such as hiking and trekking, mountaineering, gym training, trail running, country and field, cycling, lifestyle and winter sports. Accessories include bags and luggage, caps and headwear, belts, gloves, underwear, socks, drinkware and leather goods. The brand also sells a pre-owned range, gift cards and an outlet section called Oblivion.

ThruDark prices its products in GBP. On the home page, the Shroud unisex waterproof overcoat is listed at £320, the Aigis waterproof jacket at £500, the Arete quarter zip fleece at £65, the Bastion down gilet at a sale price of £177 reduced from £295, the Phalanx hooded fleece at £240 and the Charge utility cargo trousers at £295. A catalogue sample of 100 products from the store’s public product list shows prices running from £5 to £650, with a middle price of £65.

ThruDark shipping

ThruDark offers free standard delivery on mainland UK orders of £175 or above and free next-day delivery on orders of £350 or above. For orders below these thresholds, a range of delivery options is available at checkout. InPost Locker and Shop delivery is available to UK customers, with most lockers accessible 24/7 and parcels held for 3 days from arrival. International shipping costs are calculated at checkout, and most international orders are shipped Delivered Duty Paid with import duties and taxes included. ThruDark does not ship to BFPO, APO, FPO or DPO addresses, and does not deliver to hotels or temporary accommodation.

ThruDark returns

ThruDark gives customers 30 days from the date of ordering to return an item for an exchange, full refund or gift voucher credit. Items must be returned as new, unworn except for trying on for size, unaltered and with original packaging and tags. Exchanges are free, while a return shipping fee of £5.00 is deducted from refunds for UK orders and approximately £10.00 for international orders. Returns are typically processed within 7 to 10 days. UK and EU customers also have a right to cancel within 14 calendar days of receiving their order.

Discounts and offers at ThruDark

ThruDark runs a loyalty programme called GoDark. Members earn 1 point per £1 spent, and reaching Tier 3 with a first purchase unlocks exclusive rewards including 20% off selected lines in the Oblivion outlet. Climbing the tiers unlocks 20% off all orders, free shipping and returns, and members-only events. The brand also offers discounts to military and emergency services personnel through its partner VerifyPass, with some discounts available to UK customers only. An Oblivion outlet section offers reduced prices on selected lines, and the home page shows the Bastion down gilet at 40% off.

Good to know about ThruDark

ThruDark was co-founded by Anthony Stazicker and Louis Tinsley, who spent a combined 27 years in the British military, 18 of them in UK Special Forces. The brand started with a technical Summit Suit used on mountaineering expeditions, including the first winter ascent of K2. ThruDark offers pay-later options through Klarna and Clearpay, and Klarna gives customers 30 days after delivery to pay. The brand operates a retail experience called Unit Four in Poole, Dorset, where customers can try on the full range, and has previously run pop-up stores including at Selfridges. ThruDark also offers an Overwatch Warranty on its products.
